Nate is a Texas licensed professional school counselor who has sought to expand his range; hence, he has graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and is now a supervised LPC Associate.  Prior to his studies, he earned my M.Ed. in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University located in Phoenix, Arizona.  He also earned his undergraduate degree in Secondary English Education from Dillard University. 

Therapy is a process, and as such, the time it takes to reach your goals will vary; some clients may find that only a few sessions are sufficient, while others may require more time.  If at any time you are not satisfied with the services being provided, please discuss it with me so that we can modify your treatment plan or find you another therapist with whom you might be able to work effectively.  

 areas of competence include individual counseling with children, adolescents, and adults as well as group counseling, and couples and family counseling.  Note: I am not able to prescribe medication of any kind. 

After 17 years of teaching, I became a licensed professional school counselor.  Within that time, I worked as a Mental Health Associate at the Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas and provided instruction to educators as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer of Trainers.  During this time, I have worked with youth, young adults in transition (18-24), and professionals in crisis.  My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can share/explore your thoughts and life experiences.
